Apple has officially revealed that its 35th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is scheduled to occur from Monday, June 10th to Friday, June 14th. Continuing the trend set since 2020, WWDC 2024 will be held as an online event, free of charge and accessible to all developers.
WWDC 2024 promises a wealth of online sessions and labs, providing developers with insights into the latest features and software slated for announcement during the conference.
The highlight of WWDC 2024 will be the keynote event on Monday, June 10th, showcasing the unveiling of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2. This keynote event will be streamed live on the Apple Developer app, the Apple website, and YouTube. Additionally, Apple will be releasing informative videos and content throughout the week.
While WWDC 2024 remains a virtual affair, Apple is organizing a special event for selected developers and students on June 10th at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the keynote and State of the Union presentations, engage with Apple staff, and participate in the prestigious Apple Design Awards.
Eligible individuals, including current Apple Developer Program members, Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni, previous Swift Student Challenge winners, and current Apple Developer Enterprise Program members, can enter a lottery for a chance to attend the special event at Apple Park.
In addition to the main event, Apple's Swift Student Challenge, which commenced earlier this year, will announce its winners on Thursday, March 28th. These winners will have the opportunity to attend the exclusive event at Apple Park, with 50 Distinguished Winners receiving an invitation to a three-day experience in Cupertino.
Further details regarding WWDC 2024 will be communicated to developers via email, the Apple Developer app, and the Apple Developer website.
